Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt

Listen, my family are a bunch of eaters so you can only imagine the sizes we need to feel comfortable in our own clothing. To be honest we’ve always been larger than life so finding clothes can be quite the adventure. However, when I go to play cards with my friends I never have to worry about the Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt. Well, actually I have five of them because it’s nice to wear them around the house.

Trisha (my wife) thinks that I need to find other shirts to wear at home because she is tired of seeing me in navy blue. While this is true she does acknowledge that it is “my color” so it really just depends on what day she feels like complaining. So what did I do for her birthday a couple months ago? I bought her a Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt with a picture of me embroidered on it with mine on.

Everyone in the room started laughing and it was by far the best present I ever gave her. Granted, she probably wasn’t thinking the same thing, but needless to say we all got a good kick out of it. Obviously we like to have fun, so it wasn’t like she was mad or anything. While this is true and the picture was a great addition, the Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt itself is definitely something for everyone.

The design isn’t anything flashy, just a “Card Player” logo on the left side like you would see on a polo shirt. Now, since I do have a substantial amount of these for pretty much each day of the week, my wife is always coming up with freakish ways to make them standout a little more. One day I’ll have to tuck it in, the next leave it un-tucked, the day after where a white long sleeve under it, and by Friday even a hooded sweatshirt underneath.

Okay, so I’m exaggerating a little here. One thing you have to understand is I don’t wear the Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt every single day. I don’t imagine you will either, but when I do wear it around the house it is more comfortable than anything else I own. To be honest I think I am going to give a gift to myself on my birthday addressed from no one that has a picture of Trisha embroidered on it.

This way no one knows where it came from, yet everyone can have a continuous laugh remembering her Play Poker Clothing from me. Then, when I see that she is going to put her Navy Blue CardPlayer Large Sport Shirt on, I can follow suit and look like some cheesy 1950s couple. While our life revolves around enjoying every minute of the day, this shirt has had its benefits at poker games as well. People actually think I was in some big tournament.

The good news about this is when you join a new game no one knows. Unfortunately you eventually have to use some mental tricks and card skills to keep in the game. It’s really too bad I can’t just put the shirt on and have everyone hand over there money. Then again, the way that sounds it’s like I’m going to rob the place. Nope, I’ll just stick to playing poker and plastering big pictures of myself on these Play Poker Clothes for fun.

Sport Shirts and Shorts That Help Fight the Heat

If you are planning to camp for a long time, then carry along with you extra sport shirts and shorts, especially during the summertime. There are different varieties of sport shirts and shorts available on the market that will allow you to keep cool and dry as it removes the sweat from the skin.

There are some sport shirts available on the market that use bamboo carbon odor control to prevent smelliness. In addition, these shirts are designed with an ultraviolet protection factor of fifty. The people who manufacture bamboo carbon claim the material will keep everything from food to feet smelling fresh for days. Maybe there is something to these claims because after are fish for two days in warm weather, then you can tell that this shirt smells relatively fresh. These shirts are also worked as a lightweight windbreaker. However, with its thin collar and oddly shaped breast pockets, the shirt looks too much like, well, a fishing shirt. If it resembled a casual dress shirt, then you would still wear it everywhere.

There are also some long-sleeve crew shirts that are made with from a vapor wick fabric, which the manufactures claims will draw perspiration to the exterior, where it evaporates quickly. The fabric does this through the use of millions of “hydrophobic” fibers. These shirts are lightweight and work well as a first layer under a jacket or windbreaker, but may be too thin to be worn by itself on cold, windy days. On the positive side, the material does not feel slick and cold like other synthetic fabric. In fact, it almost feels like cotton.

With some of the long sleeve tees that are available on the market are made from polyester and spandex, but the manufacturers claim they have the ability to stop bacteria from forming in the fiber, which reduces odors and they block harmful UV rays. In addition, they claim that the “high-twisted yarn” keeps you cool at all times. These shirts do a pretty good job of keeping you cool and comfortable under hot outdoor conditions. The drawback with most of these shirts are that they are offered in only bright colors that are sure to scare fish away.

If you chose your apparel wisely, then you will want cloths that are not too long, too short, in gaudy colors and most of all you will want them to be practical. During the summer months it will undoubtedly be hot and will only get hotter, and you are probably a big fan of wearing shorts. When you spend a lot of time outdoors fishing, camping, and hunting then you want an inexpensive pair of shorts that look good and are fit for a day in the outdoors.

There are shorts that are available with six different pockets and are perfect for any fishing trip, as they are designed with the angler in mind. These shorts feature two front trouser pockets, two back angled hook ‘n’ loop pockets, and two big pockets for beverages or extra gear, these work well for the weekend lake cruiser or the serious tournament fisherman alike. You can find these shorts that are made from soft one hundred percent cotton, which are extremely comfortable, because they are light and airy enough to keep my backside from heating up after sitting the boat’s vinyl seats. The shorts also come with built in belt, so the shorts stayed exactly where they were supposed to be.

How To Display Sports Shirts In Jersey Display Cases

Clothing worn by famous athletes is quite valuable to sports collectors. Many autographed, team and championship shirts have been collected over the years; they are generally exhibited in jersey display cases. These wall cabinets have been designed specifically for this purpose, and are often showcased in places such as museums, halls of fame, sports bars and clubs, memorabilia shops, and private homes.

It is an art to fold uniforms for jersey display cases. That does not mean that you could not learn it as well. If you want to give it a try, just follow these simple instructions:

1. Shadow boxes generally come with a special clothes hanger. If it is missing, find one what will match the background color of your display case. Put the jersey on the hanger – most display cases have barely visible hooks that can hold your hangers.

2. Place your display unit on a table so you can lay your jersey flat inside the case – the side you want to display on top. If the shirt has sleeves, fold them in front of the jersey so they are visible. Make sure that signatures, names or numbers are not covered.

3. Carefully pin the sleeves down from the underside, so the pins will not show. Try not to damage the fabric. You can use as many pins as necessary to hold each sleeve in place.

4. Flatten the shirt so that it is smooth against the back of the shadow box. Now pin the lower parts of the jersey to the box lining. Once again; use the fabric to hide the pins.

5. Close the doors of the case and hang them on the wall so your guests can admire your collectibles, as well as your handiwork.

Alexander McQueen Lightweight Sport Shirt

I paused for a few seconds when I saw this, paused not stopped. It’s not repulsive, neither is it tacky. It’s just unnecessary. It’s like one of those items where you’re in the middle of the fence but you buy anyway because it’s hugely discounted and you think you might make use of it someday. But that someday never came and you end up throwing it out after a few years wondering just why you bought it in the first place.

I’ve been trying to figure out just where it would be appreciate to to wear sheer shirts – definitely not at work (because your colleagues don’t need or want to see so much of you), or on a date or to dinner parties. So I guess a night on a town? That would still be pushing it a little too much.

It’s just that I don’t get the fully intentional sheerness of the fabric; why? I know it’s supposed to be lightweight and humidity-friendly but that doesn’t mean you save on fabric, it just means you use a higher thread count variety. And where would you wear this to? I don’t think it is appropriate to show your nipples on most occasions and you would definitely be showing and telling the upper half of your body with this shirt. No matter how modern it looks, save the negligee for the bedroom please. Plus, the sheerness of the fabric means you do have to ensure you have a decent, toned body because the shirt doesn’t hide much or anything at all.

The white contrast button is cute and goes well with the navy but that’s hardly even enough to redeem this shirt. Perhaps you’re supposed to layer it over a tee but then I don’t think that was ever the intention when this was designed.

Tips For Choosing the Right Clothes When Running

Wouldn’t you feel better as a runner if you would be running all geared up with the most comfortable clothes you can ever wear? Yes, it is a fact that all types of runners, whether a newbie in running or a veteran runner is greatly affected by the types of clothes they wear when running. As much as possible, runners would like to wear the most comfortable clothes that would not only make them the greatest runners but would also give them a feeling of comfort and satisfaction as well.

Apparel Companies Regularly Modernizing Running Clothes

And it is exactly for this reason that apparel companies regularly modernize and bring their release of new items up to date. That way, they are able to eliminate feelings of monotony and dullness among runners. Because as we know, there is that tendency for runners to get demotivated and become weary of running if they will have to use the same sets of running apparel every time they run.

But come to think of it, while most runners have their own preferences for buying so many running clothes to wear, some are still doubtful if a runner really needs a wide wardrobe of running clothes in order to have a great marathon run. Nevertheless, here are a few helpful tips on how you should choose the right clothes before you go running.

Basic Running Apparel

First and foremost, be aware that most “running apparel” producers, retailers and resellers will give you the impression that you will need different kinds of outfit for every sudden change in the temperature to be able to jog. If you hear that, do not ever believe it! Running is a very simple and low-cost form of exercise. You really do not need so much apparel or expensive gear to run fast or comfortably, right? What you need is a simple set of running shirts and shorts plus focus, determination, and stamina. So, focus on building your endurance, speed and distance and not merely on buying loads of new running clothes.

Running Apparel To Match Your Comfort

Keep your running clothes in good condition because if handled properly, they can actually stay looking new for several years. So, there is really no hurry to buy new running gear to be able to run. However, if you should really need or want to buy new sets of running apparel then do so for as long as you choose the one that will truly make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Here are some of the basic apparel needs a runner would commonly want to gear up while running.

Basic Running Apparel Needs

These include a number of running shorts matched with a short-sleeve and long-sleeve Tee Shirts, one singlet or tank top especially designed for running, a pair of tights or leggings, a lightweight jacket, or any jacket that is breathable or windproof. Also, it would be good to buy a pair of running gloves, a hat for women and some running socks as your first few investments for running. And if you are one of those very fond of nighttime running, you should also invest on some really good reflective running gear; otherwise, running in the dark might cost you your life, if not your legs.

Layering, The Key To Winter Running

Another successful tip in choosing your running clothes, especially when running during winter is through “layering” or the putting on of clothes of about two to three lightweight layers. And since if you put so many, you might perspire too much and might just find yourself overheated while on a run. If ever, this should happen, just immediately remove one layer and choose another garment that you could put on again should you feel cold.

Proper Layering Of Clothes

A runner should use and choose three layers of clothes for his upper torso depending on the severity of the cold weather outside. While the “baselayer”, the one that is just next to your skin should absorb all the moisture and send it across to the next layers. That is why never use cotton for running as it will absorb all the perspiration in your body, you will stay drenched and get cold to the bone.

Instead, consider using the Coolmax polyester as it’s known to wick away perspiration. This mesh top will absorb all your perspiration from the body to outside the garment. Another kind of garment that could be used for running is the Supplex Nylon which instead of clinging to your body, will hang and never stick to the perspiring and sticky skin. Take your time when choosing your clothes for running, remember, comfort is the best ingredient for great running!

Compression Shirts

There been something of a movement over recent years as tightly fitting running shirts have started to become more and more popular. The science of compression shirts whilst hard to comprehend doesn’t seem to be in dispute. So what exactly do compression shits do for us.

Well top of the list is a reduction in muscle vibration. Muscles work in a linear direction, but the nature of exercise means that we often place different strains on muscles, perhaps because of the terrain we’re running on. By holding the muscle tightly a compression top prevents unnecessary movement. This in turn reduces energy used, and the onset of fatigue.

The other main benefit of compression garments is blood flow improvement. A simple example of this are flight socks. These are designed to prevent problems such as deep vein thrombosis by improving blood flow in the lower legs. Compression shirts and shorts can have a similar effect. Compression improves bloody flow and so can enhance performance and recovery.

There are other beneifts. Some runners find lose fitting running tops uncomfortable. The either get wet with sweat, or if your out in the rain. A cotton Tee shirt will be incredible uncomfortable, but even technical lose fitting tops are often not ideal. Compression shirts stop all movement, and allow you get on with performing.

There are an increasing number of manufacturers moving into the production of compression shirts. Some are indeed excellent. These are usually the main sports manufacturers and running specialists. So if you are looking for that extra dimension to help your running performance, you should have a look at what is available and perhaps try a compression top.

What to Wear for Yoga

Yoga takes extreme concentration and focus, and involves very controlled movements as well as balance. Clothing that rides up, slips down, bunches, or otherwise does not stay put the way it should, can make focus, concentration, and balance almost impossible. The stretching and reaching involved in yoga is not conducive to keeping clothing in place, therefore yoga apparel must be designed specifically to do what it needs to do, which is stay put so that concentration can be maintained and make sure nothing is revealed that should not be.

Yoga clothing is usually smooth and somewhat clingy. The fibers are often natural, including cotton as well and hemp and bamboo. This time of clothing is eco friendly, especially when of the organic sort. Organic clothing is clothing made of natural fibers that are pesticide free. The light, swingy fabric has just enough cling to keep it in place while allowing it to move with the body. This works well for yoga as it allows for free movement without having to worry about clothes. These types of natural fabrics do a great job of wicking away sweat and moisture so that you feel cool and fresh from beginning to end.

Many styles of yoga apparel are available. Pants for women range from pants to capris, with some fitting snuggly all the way down to the ankle, and others having a slight flair at the bottom. For men, shorts are the more prevalent style of yoga bottoms, but long pants are available. Tops for women can be short or long sleeves tees, tanks of all styles, halters, and sports bra like tops. Most generally offer some sort of breast support so that a separate bra is not needed. This encourages the free movement needed while practicing yoga. For men, often there is no top worn. Men’s yoga t-shirts are available if a shirt is desired though.

Yoga clothing is typically extremely comfortable, and therefore many choose to wear this type of clothing even if they are not practicing yoga. Yoga pants are great to sleep in and for lounging around the house. Tops can be worn with pants and a blazer to work or with jeans for a night on the town.
